Admission
The selection process for new students at the Master’s and Doctorate levels strictly follows UFC rules (Resolution 14/CEPE/2013) and the tests currently consist of two stages:
1) Oral Test (presentation of the research project);
2) Evaluation of CVs
The first stage is eliminatory in nature and, in order to be approved, the candidate must obtain at least an average of 7 (seven), considering the grades awarded by the members of the evaluation committee.
The second stage, in turn, is classificatory and the candidate’s score may vary from 6 (six) to 10 (ten). The number of candidates selected for this stage will be distributed according to the score in the oral test and will have a maximum of 3 (three) times the number of vacancies offered for the chosen thematic area.
Regarding vacancies, these are offered according to the availability of guidance from the Program’s professors and are distributed in the following thematic areas: 1) Cariology/Oral Microbiology; 2) Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Traumatology; 3) Dentistry/Dental Materials; 4) Endodontics; 5) Stomatopathology; 6) Clinical Pharmacology; 7) Oral Morphology/Histology; 8) Pediatric Dentistry; 9) Patients with Special Needs; 10) Periodontics; 11) Dental Prosthesis; 12) Dental Radiology; 13) Public Health.
